Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

This policy explains how Forgenuvo handles personal information when you use our website and services to create, test, publish, discover, play, and review browser games.

1. Who is responsible and how to contact us

“Forgenuvo,” “we,” and “us” mean the operator of the Forgenuvo service. For privacy questions or requests, contact us through the support email displayed on the Forgenuvo Google sign-in consent screen. We may ask for information needed to verify that you control the account concerned.

2. Information we process

3. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; authenticate you; associate a Google identity with an existing Forgenuvo account only when the Google email is verified; provide game creation, storage, review, publishing, playback, ratings, and sharing; process subscriptions when enabled; send verification, password-reset, and service messages; prevent abuse and investigate security issues; measure reliability and product usage; and meet legal obligations.

4. AI features and external services

When you request AI assistance, the prompt and relevant game context or attachments are sent to the provider selected for that request. Depending on the configuration, that may be OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or a locally hosted Ollama model. If you connect your own provider key, the request is made using that provider and key. The AI provider processes the submitted content under its own terms and privacy policy; do not include passwords, secrets, or personal information you do not need to share. Uploaded assets may be stored and scanned for malware. Text or structured attachments may be included in generation context; binary media is stored as a game asset and is not necessarily interpreted by the text model.

We use service providers to operate the platform, including hosting/database and object-storage providers, Resend for transactional email, AI providers selected for generation, and Stripe if billing is enabled. Google processes sign-in information when you choose Google sign-in. These providers receive only information needed for their service and process it under their own terms.

5. Public and private content

Drafts and their chat history are available to you and authorized platform operators for support, security, and moderation. A game submitted for publication is reviewed by authorized reviewers. When approved, its published version and the information you chose to publish become available in the public catalog and may be shared by link. Do not put credentials, private user data, or confidential material in a game or its assets.

6. Cookies and similar storage

We use first-party cookies needed for sign-in, session security, CSRF protection, and the temporary Google sign-in transaction. Session cookies are HttpOnly and use secure attributes on HTTPS. The interface may use browser storage for local preferences or drafts. We do not use third-party advertising cookies as part of the current product experience.

7. Legal grounds and sharing

Depending on your location and the feature, we process information to provide the service you request, meet legal obligations, protect users and the platform through legitimate interests, or based on consent where required. We do not sell personal information. We share it with the service providers described above, with reviewers/admins where needed to operate the platform, when required by law, or to protect rights and safety.

8. International processing and security

Forgenuvo and its providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards. We apply measures such as password hashing, encrypted storage for provider keys, access controls, rate limits, and sandboxed game playback. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Retention and your choices

We keep account information and content while needed to provide the service, enforce these terms, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Product analytics events are assigned a 180-day expiry; deletion from backups or operational systems may take longer. You can correct account details in available settings. To request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion of personal information, use the support contact shown on the Google sign-in consent screen. We may retain limited records where the law permits or requires it. You can revoke Google access from your Google Account; this does not automatically delete your Forgenuvo account or its content.

10. Children and age requirements

Forgenuvo is not designed for children to use independently. You may use the service only if you are legally able to agree to these terms in your location; otherwise, use it only with the required parent or guardian permission. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us through the support address shown on the sign-in consent screen.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the date above and, when a change materially affects users, provide notice through the service or another reasonable channel.
